Sunshine or Secrecy Forum Sparks Lively Discussion
League’s annual community forum, held March 15, led to enlightening panel presentations and lively table discussions. The discussions reinforced the citizens’ right to know and the need for transparency in government. As one public official attending noted, “We should have more meetings like this.” We agree! A special thanks to chairman Bill McCartney, who kept everyone on task.
