League membership is open to all U.S. citizens, male or female, of voting age. When you join the League, you become part of all three levels of League—national, state and local. Through League, you can join others in being a force for change, working for voter’s rights and better, more responsive government. You can download a membership form here: Membership Benefits and Dues All League members receive The National Voter magazine, as well as state and local publications. Members have access to member information on state and national League Web sites. Members are encouraged to enroll in the grassroots lobby corps, to receive notices by e-mail of the need for action on legislative developments and critical votes. Membership dues and contributions to the League of Women Voters are not tax-deductible. However, contributions designated for educational purposes only (the Melva Hunter Education Fund) are tax-deductible. The League welcomes contributions from members and non-members to support voter information services and other services to the community.
